There is still a lot to be done in this room, but here is the work in progress so far! This room BEFORE was a baby blue color with massive hot pink stains on the carpet. I was really sad to see those go.
This room AFTER is pale pink/beige with new carpet:
- Thank you to Making Memories,
who generously gave me all of the storage for this space, minus the red
piece. I picked that up at a thrift store in Tennessee. - All of the vintage pieces
belonged to both of my grandmothers. The old books, the cut class, the
penny tins, the vintage lamp. I love having their things in there. - Still to do: curtains to hang, artwork to put up on the walls, vintage throne chairs from my grandmother to nestle in the corner.
Thanks for looking! I love this space. It has great light and I think
it will be really charming once all of the final touches are in. It's
also the only room in the house where I could be really girly.

It looks so great! Inspiring!

Lucky you to have a designated scrap room. My scrap space/office is the dining room table. Awesome job decorating this and pulling it all together.
LOVE the “red piece.”
I can’t wait to see more.
So cool! What an amazing space for you!
I’m so jealous! Beautiful!
STUNNING! I’m so jealous of that red piece! LUCKY! hehe
It looks great! It’s fun to see the progress you are making on the house.
Beautiful! One of my goals this year is to make my space my own – and make it work for me. I hope it turns out as nice as your room.
Can I come scrap at your house???? Absolutely love it! Although the pink splashes in the before were a nice tough

My studio looked like this once (ONCE). After I painted the walls, after I put in all my new & old furniture from IKEA. Then I brought in my stash of supplies to put away. Those darn things multiply in the dark you know, and I haven’t the heart to get rid of the new things they create. It is cruel to separate a family, even if they are only craft supplies! So my room is still in dire need of being organized. One of these days when I have some time (yeah, like that will happen), I’ll get to it. I know I will someday, because soon I won’t be able to get anything else in the door. I’m afraid one of my dogs will go in and vanish into the land of missing supplies. AND I have big dogs. My German Shepherd loves to poke his nose in all the bags and boxes, the 1/2 shepherd, 1/2 husky just finds a place on the floor and goes to sleep.

Looks great! If I ever get my dream house, it will have a scrapbook room. I don’t want a mansion or anything- just an extra room for scrapbooking would suffice!
