*GIVEAWAY CLOSED. WINNERS CONTACTED VIA EMAIL*
Our gift bags from the Nintendo party included the new Wii Sports Resort and since we already have that game I thought I’d give away our two extra copies to y’all!

I tend to play this game the most because it has ping pong on it and y’all know I’m hardcore when it comes to ping pong. In related news, you should make the wriststrap extra tight if you plan on playing ping pong the way I play. Which is madly flailing my arms around and trash talking my opponents. Nevermind that they are computer generated animations. It also has frisbee, which is fun because you throw the frisbee to a dog and nothing is cuter than animated dogs. Except my baby.
This is one of the games endorsed by the American Heart Association so playing it can actually be totally healthy for you. Which is how you can justify spending 4 hours attempting to beat “Emma” at the championship ping pong game.
To be entered to win, just leave me a comment with an easy healthy living tip! I’ll choose two winners on Friday, Oct. 15!
(Disclaimer: This giveaway is not sponsored by Nintendo. I have extra unopened copies of this game and I love it so I am passing them on to y’all!

Sounds like fun. . .healthy living tip. Hmmmmmm. Drink plenty of water. I like to fill a sports bottle with lots of ice and water and sip on that throughout the day, filling it up as it empties. As well, we don’t usually keep sodas or other sugary drinks in the house.
Water water water. I only like it really cold, so I refill my water bottles and keep them in the fridge – why through them away when I can reuse!!
My easy healthy living tip is 3 W’s – Walk, Water, and Watch what you eat. When I apply it all it works wonders.
OMG we so need that game! I love ping pong!
Healthy living tip, a tbsp of peanut butter a day keeps you healthy. Get plenty of rest each night and wash your hands frequently to fight off colds!
My healthy living tips for you (too bad I don’t follow these, LOL)!! At least 30 mins a day of exercise, and lots of water!!! Thanks for the chance!!!
Sounds cool! We are a ping pong loving family even though our skillz are a bit all over the place.
Healthy living tip. . . . be active all day like my little girl and not a chair-sitting person like me.
Looks like fun!
)
Healthy living tip? hmmm… Get lots of sleep!
everything in moderation!!
Healthy living tip: Drink more water!!!! And scrapbook once a month – it makes you feel better.
Drinks lots of water, work out, eat lots of vegetables, fibres and fruits. Do I do all these things? well no. Do I need to ? well yes! So hopefully the work out part will come from you
Love what you do…and breathe deeply!
Health tip: When you order a meal at a restaurant just eat half and get the rest to-go. It’s an easy way to control your portions and have something for lunch the next day
You’ve already gotten some of the best tips – lots of water, sleep and at least 30 minutes of exercise a day. I can only add – laugh as often as possible.
Healthy tip, walk as much as you can. There is no need to drive to the bus stop 1/2 a block away. I see it everyday. Thanks for the chance to win.
a health tip…hummm eat veggies and drink water and be active….things I really should be doing!
Hmmm, a healthy living tip??? … move, move, move.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Well, I’d recommend drinking water, but I see that has been covered. We also don’t buy pop and only drink it when we go out to eat. So…
I’d say, try quinoa. It’s my favorite grain because it is super yummy, filling, and way healthy for you. Also, it is gluten-free, and so many people feel tons better upon cutting down on the gluten.
I liked the tip that Bob gave last night on Biggest Loser. He said he tries to only have foods in his house with a shelf life of no longer than two weeks. Seems like a good thing to do after hearing the story about the woman who photographed a McDonalds happy meal for 6 months and it never changed!
How fun!
Healthy tip: Get moving. Play Wii with your kids, jump on the trampoline, take a walk, turn up the music and dance. The possibilities are endless.
My healthy living tip is to keep a water bottle handy at all times. Keep one or two in the fridge, ready to go, and keep another with you.
OOOOHHHHH!!! We LOVE WII! We have game night about twice a month with all the family and play WII! We don’t have very many games so it would be GREAT to add this one!! My time is to get PLENTY of SLEEP!! I personally need 8 1/2 – 9 hours a night to feel really good! Some people may not need that much, but everyone is different!
HAPPY BABY, Kayla!
My healthy living tips are:
Have as many colors of food on your plate as you can. They signify variety in your diet, and are most likely all fresh ingredients. Who wants to eat all beige food anyway?
Also, for healthy stress-free living, I try to have less clutter in my house as possible. I love the reaction I get when people walk in and go, “Ah~ I can breathe in here, it’s so open!” I still have candles, and artwork, and decorations, but not nearly as many as other people. I keep my life organized – everything has a place, and if it doesn’t have a place, I don’t need it.
Water was going to be my tip, but that seems to be a popular tip already. So, I’m going with weird cause that’s how I roll. After eating your last meal of the day, go ahead and brush and floss your teeth. That totally works for me. I don’t snack because I don’t want to mess up the brushing or have to brush again!
Lately I’ve been trying to be more aware of when I am full. I find that I get full but will keep eating often. If I think about it, I am more likely to stop when my body is full, which feels much better than a stuffed stomach!
Healthy living tip : DUST!
FUN!
And drink lots of water!
I would LOVE to win this. I love the fact that it could possibly help me and my husband become more active by playing a video game!! My healthy living tip is to try and eat one serving of yogurt daily. It is a great snack that can help curb a sweet tooth craving, it also helps you get your daily recommended amounts of calcium, can reduce your risk of high blood pressure, and help with digestive problems. Always try and go low-fat, watch the sugar content, and look for active cultures. Always a good idea to eat a serving a day if you’re female and on antibiotics, it helps prevent yeast infections!
Awesome! My 5 year old has been wanting this game. It’s a fun one! Healthy living tip…drink lots of water. Carry it with you, and you’ll be sure to drink more.
Add grated carrots to your tomato sauce, it’s an easy way to add more veg. to your diet.
My best healthy living tip is sometimes the hardest thing for me to do: Stay positive and optimistic! Attitude is the driving force of healthy living. And according to Abe Lincoln, “Most people are just about as happy as they make up their minds to be.” So make up your mind to be happy, healthy and grateful for the bright future ahead of you. :) Thanks KA!!
Make sure once that beautiful baby girl gets here that you still take some time for yourself. Remember yourself as a wife and friend, as Kayla, don’t lose your identity to your children,it’s good for your mental health.
Tip: I know it’s not really taboo to say but…Do your pelvic floor exercises! And PMA Keep a Positive Mental Attitude in everything you do
Thank you for having a giveaway.
We love our Wii!! We try and have family Wii night once a week.
My healthy living tip is to cut back the fat, salt and sugar in every recipe I make. My family never notices the “bad” stuff is missing!
I am currently trying to get healthier by exercising more regularly and eating foods that are better for me- and if I don’t do so well one day, I don’t get upset with myself about it- I just try harder the next day to keep a positive attitude and do my best!!
My tip: Use small opportunities to move more throughout the day. Park further away and take the stairs.
Here are my healthy living tips for you:
Drink a lot of water & always wear sunscreen.
Both are super important!
Drink lots of water & get plenty of exercise!!!
Eat fresh produce! It is not expensive if you buy what’s in season and hasn’t been shipped across the country/world…
My healthy tip…dont eat more than a pound of chocolate a day
lol
I love chocolate! Really though…some form of exercise everyday!!
Tip: Portion control, and keep “trigger” foods out of your house. Chocolate = a trigger food; if it’s around I’ll eat it.
I totally love my Wii. Have you played Just Dance yet? SO fun!
Eat fruits and vegetables at every meal, every day. Walk more, eat less, drink water, wear sunscreen.
BUCKLE UP! And that means the kids, too…
I find that if I wash and pre-package all the little grapes and veggie sticks and crackers into snack baggies, I can grab and go, easily make a lunch, and moderate the quantities all at the same time!
I know many people mentioned water, but I have a cool way to remember to drink said water. I take my Flylady water bottle and fill it up with water. http://flylady.net/pages/FlyShop_swb.asp (I don’t work for them but this is truly the best bottle keeps water cold for hours even overnight.)I have 4 colored rubber bands or hair bands at the top. Every time I fill it up I move one rubberband down. That’s how I know how many I’ve drunk and how many more I need to go.
One way to stay healthy and save money is to eat at home as much as you can. My girls really want this game! Thanks
Healthy Living Tip: Get a good night sleep!!!!!
The family will love a new Wii game.
Awesome giveaway! Healthy tip… hmmmm. Get 8 hrs of sleep each night. You will be energized and able to tackle the day better.
Yep drink water, but you know what that means, lots of potty breaks, who has the time for that? Sleep is what you need, and i love the Wii giveaway. So nice of you.
My Healthy Living tip: Don’t drink soda!
I hope I win! I want this game SOOOO BAD!!
My healthy tip: workout in the mornings. Not only do you start the day off right, it gives you more energy and I drink more water as a result. Easy peasy!
Oooh ooh! I want to win! My healthy living tip is ‘everything in moderation.’ The more I stress about what I eat, the more I binge on crap. If I just have a cookie now and then when I want to, I’m much less likely to obsess about junk food and then go on a binge.
Healthy Living Tip?
EAT! We have to eat five times a day to keep our metabolism going. Three meals, two snacks, healthy choices! A great way to live.
Thanks for the fabulous giveaway!!!! ☻
I would love to have this game. I could be so addicted to ping pong too. Water is the best tip that I can think of.
Drink lots of water
get lots of exercise
and do like mom said – eat your veggies!
What a great game! I need one of these – one of my goals for this birthday year is to move more.
Just finished watching Alton Browns episode on oats. Yeah, I am on my way to the store to buy the Old Fashioned kind. I am going to attempt to eat some each day. Alternatively, I will make the oatmeal cookies with ALL oatmeal. I think that should count as healthy too..:-)
A surprising tip if you work in an office and sit on your bottom all day long…stand up while taking your conference calls. You actually burn calories with this simple tip…if no one can see you do a few squats also!!!! Our family loves the Wii. We have regular tennis matches (even though my 7 year old always wins!!!)
Healthy Living Tip – Portion Size. So often we eat, but we don’t pay attention to our portion size. Always be aware of what you are putting into your body.
ohh i’ve wanted this game for a while! my healthy living tip is absolutely sunscreen every day! and not just on your face people, it needs to go everywhere! a lot of body lotions now have spf in them without that strong sunscreen smell, so its so easy to incorporate into your every day routine
Don’t drink soda (pop). It’s bad for your body. You can google search for what happens to your body in the first few minutes to one hour after you drink one, it’s not pleasant reading. The amounts of caffeine, acidity, and artificial sweeteners or sugar load are all bad for you. I used to drink soda every day before the doctor told me to quit, and now if I try some I can hardly stand it – it’s awful!
We love Wii at my house!
My tip is to find an exercise you love. I’ve recently taken up bike riding. It’s healthy and fun!
We would love a Wii!
Healthy living tip; Eat regularly, Sleep regularly & laugh as much as you can!
I would love to have this game. I need some motivation to move.
My best tip for you is to keep hydrated – drink at least 8 glasses of water each day…just be sure to space them out early in the day, so you can sleep during the night!
Healthy Living Tip: everything that’s been suggested is awesome, but I make double extra sure I take a multi-vitamin EVERY day. I try to eat well and all that, of course. But, if I do give in to Taco Bell, at least I know that I got my vitamins one way or another. It’s kind of my insurance policy against 21st century life in the fast lane
my healthy living tip is to remember that “there is no way to happiness. Happiness IS the way.”
It’s all a journey, not a destination. Helps me when I am super stressed out!
xo,
kate
