Today’s giveaway is a $25 e-gift card to Amazon.com because I’m talking about swagbucks and that is where I like to spend them all.
Unlike the other giveaways going on this week, this one is being provided by me as a little thank you for taking the time to read my blog, share your thoughts and connecting with my family. (And also because I know it’s a huge hassle to update all your links to this site so I want you to know that I really mean thanks!)
All you have to do to be entered to win is leave a comment on this post between now and noon on Sunday, August 7. I’ll select a winner randomly to receive a $25 gift card to amazon.com. No sharing is necessary but if you want to tweet/facebook this giveaway, I would totally appreciate the mention.
Amazon.com has some really great deals. Typically a few times a month they offer free MP3s or streaming movie credits. Around Christmastime last year they offered the Veggie Tales Christmas MP3 album for free, which made an awesome gift for my littlest niece.
And since you know I love some great deals, here are a few other great deals that I’ve found around the web this week:

Plum District has a free printable coupon for 30% off your entire purchse at The Gap and gap.com available right now. It’s for members only but membership is free (Plum District is a daily deal site.) I’ve had hit or miss success on Plum District with their deals. The hyper-local ones seem the best to me. But this is a freebie so it’s totally worth it.
PaperCoterie.com is offering a free $40 credit when you use the code BEGINANYWHERE at checkout. It doesn’t include shipping, but their shipping charges aren’t outrageous. Do you know what is outrageous? Jem. She’s truly outrageous.
Chili’s has a free coupon for chips & queso when you sign up for their email newsletter. I signed up and picked up mine at the To-Go window. BTW, they also have a birthday club and will send you a coupon for a free dessert the week of your birthday. So last week, we got free chips & queso AND a free molten lava cake because Jeff’s birthday was the 20th. We’re all about free stuff around here.
Enjoy!

I love swagbucks! I have been working on learning some new ways to earn swagbucks. The newest one is doing the NOSO every day.
I have not been sure how to get the swagbucks thing going and your post really answered my questions and made it seem not so intimidating. Thank you! The amazon card would definitely come in handy too, as my daughter’s birthday is this month!
Ooh, a $25 amazon gift card for a contest ending August 7th? It’s a sign…
August 7 is my mom’s b’day and I’m throwing her a party (1/2 surprise – she knows about the party but she doesn’t know there will be more people than just me and my sister and our families… and I’m so busy trying to straighten out my house while still working full time I have nothing to give mom yet so a $25 amazon gift card would be an AWESOME start… hint, hint! Pick me, please!!!

i’m trying to be patient with the whole swagbucks thing…looking forward to it starting to pay off soon!!
OOh I love Swagbucks! I just bought an ice cream maker with my Amazon gift cards because of Swagbucks
I love Amazon. Have you used camelcamelcamel before? I added the Chrome extension and when I’m shopping I can click the little camel guy and see what the price history has been like in a little chart. Awesomeness.
I have not but that sounds awesome!
How fun! Love Amazon. I buy just about everything I need (and don’t need) there.
I so love swagbucks and Amazon… And you of course.
Okay, I’m back on the Swagbucks wagon now – thanks to you
I’m like your friend, I get frustrated by only earning a few bucks here and there. But, we have twins on the way – so I’m definitely soaking up any tip you have for cutting items out of the budget
Diapers included, of course!

Thanks for the Swagbucks tips– I gave up after a poking around on the site for a little while. I might revisit it now!
I signed up through your referral link and am now feeling totally overwhelmed – LOL. Love the idea, though (and I also love Amazon — Prime member here …), so I’ll be following your future posts on Swagbucks to talk me through the process ….
Yay! Thanks for the giveaway!
Great tip! Thanks for the budget ideas and though I’m not a Mom, I look forward to your other suggestions to keep my bank account solvent.

This is so generous of you! Thanks for the chance!
I signed up for swag bucks. We cloth diaper, so not sure if Amazon Mom will work out. But I’m willing to try.

I’ve never heard of swagbucks, but after reading this I am definitely signing up. Thanks for the info!
Thanks! I have a swagbucks account, but I have kind of stopped using it. I am not inspired to get some free diapers.
I love swagbucks and use them for amazon gift cards, I was on amazon mom, but sadly didn’t buy $25 worth of stuff one month, so they dropped my membership…my kids are older so no diapers or wipes for us anymore….
Thank you so much for the swagbuck tips. I have been thinking about this for a while now and I am going to sign up today.
I signed up for swagbucks a few months ago and completely forgot about it – I’m playing around with it today and I think I like it! Thanks KA

Thank you for the chance to win! I’ve just gotten started using swagbucks and followed some of your tips!
Amazon is awesome. Except for the part where they put Borders out of business. Now where am I supposed to spend an afternoon browsing?
What a fab giveaway, thank you so much!!
I love Amazon! Great giveaway.
That is incredibly kind of you!!! Thank you so much for the chance!
I am a huge swagbucks hoarder! I love Amazon! Thanks for the chance!

Love your site! So happy your baby is well. Thanks for the giveaway.
If I win, I will be purchasing some books for my girls for school this year. Well….maybe one book. School books are kind of pricey

Love Amazon! Love swagbucks! Love you for having this cool giveaway! Thanks so much!
Love swagbucks, love amazon, love baby Scarlette!
Hmmmm…..don’t think my last comment posted…..
I went to your old blog and saw the link to this one here. I think you’ll really like having a blog where you can do whatever you want to do. Oh, and Amazon is my favourite place to shop online because they love my CC and don’t reject me due to (billing) location. And they have free shipping. What’s not to love about that?
Thanks so much for posting about swagbucks because I have thought about signing up but have been concerned about some of the issues like the toolbar, etc. My hubby is a computer tech/web designer and is very strict about what we use. I look forward to your additional post about this subject.
my husband is too, he’s the one that showed me how to edit it so that just the search box and one dropdown showed up! But it took me awhile to convince him, lol.
Would love to win the gift card!! And you never fail to crack me up, by the way
If I’m lucky, I earn a $5 Amazon card at Swagbucks about every 4-5 weeks. But hey, that’s a nice little reward for doing practically nothing. I get excited about free stuff, too!
I love Amazon! I just got an email too telling me that some of my wishlist items were on sale!
I started reading your blog from a ddc on http://www.babycenter.com. My little guy had almost the same due date as Scarlette. He was born 3 days early & is a little tank! I’m so intrigued by your story because after battling infertility, I got pregnant with triplets, only to lose them at 20 weeks, if only they could have held on a few more weeks… I’m so thankful for you sharing your journey, every one of Scarlette’s victorys is a miracle and I cheer her on at every one of them.
I just started swagbucks this summer, and while I’m no expert yet, I’m enjoying thinking about the free stuff I can earn.
i love amazon, thanks for the chance to win!
Wow! you’re really awesome! All these tips and ideas, and coupons AND giveaways?! You’re the best!
Thank you for offering the giveaway! Would love to get some more cloth diapers for our newborn debuting this November
If only you had posted your referral link on yesterday’s post, I would have used it to sign up. I signed up for swagbucks yesterday. The toolbar really messed up my Safari browser, though, so I removed it.
Kayla, This is my first time commenting but I”ve been reading for awhile. I found your blog through your link on the bump preemie boards and your beautiful telling of Scarlette’s story captivated me. I love how all-encompassing your blog is because though we are micro preemie moms (my son was born at 24w 5d), we still have other interests as well. Anyhow, I love your writing and when I saw your swagbucks post, it was just too coincidental as I just started swagbucks 2 days ago and am learning the ropes!
Thanks so much for sharing your life with all of us. Reading through your account of Scarlette’s birth and NICU days was extremely healing for me.
Cara
Never heard of swagbucks either, but will definitely check it out. And the giveaway? Totally generous of you – thanks so much!
What a wonderful giveaway!
Aww that’s super sweet of you
I am about to lose my free shipping!! oh snap-I had better order something fast…and you are so full of it. Full of great info I mean. and great gifts.
I love swagbucks and was on a roll with them for awhile, but lately haven’t been using it as much. Hopefully your post will get me back in the habit of searching through them and maybe even doing some of the tasks and surveys. Love your blog, BTW, and Scarlette is such a beauty!
I love amazon and i love your junkie site here.
I have swagbucks but don’t use it as often as I should. You know what I think, I think swagbucks should have an app!
I love swagbucks! Love that we haven’t had to pay for a single thing for my son as we keep racking up the bucks! Thanks for the chance to win.
I would love a chance to win this giveaway. This is so generous of you. Good luck to all!
Thanks, I am already a member of Swagbucks, but I would totally sign up through you if I weren’t.
Thanks for the chance to win! Amazon is the best!
I love your new website KA!! I’m always game for giveaways
thanks so much for the opportunity!
KA, I love your blog and your spirit! It fills my heart with joy when I see how well your beautiful baby girl is doing! Congratulations on 5 years!
I LOVE Amazon lately. I travel by motorcycle in the summer and have to pack light. So I read books on my iphone Kindle app. Amazon affords me some wonderful books on the road to read!
Amazon and SwagBucks rock! Thanks KA!
I’m intrigued by swagbucks, looking into it now!
I love Amazon! I buy books like crazy off Amazon… and most of my Christmas gifts as well!
I have Swagbucks but I always forget about it until AFTER I’ve made a purchase online!! Need to get better about that.
I love amazon and love knowing there are people out there that almost burn their houses down trying to be domestic…
I love Amazon! It’s one of my favorite places to buy children’s books for my classroom. Also, I’ve been reading your blog ever since I frantically googled what to do when given an accidental-horrendous-mullet haircut.
Really sweet of you to do this give away. My hubby jokes that I would have purchased him on Amazon if I could have, so I can always use Amazon money
Hmmm–my comment doesn’t show up so I’ll post again. Feel free to delete one if they both do show up.
Anyway, this is really sweet of you to do! I love Amazon. Hubby jokes that if I could have, I would have bought him on Amazon! I think we get delivery from them at least 3 times a week!
I’ve been using Swagbucks for almost two years ~ love them!
Have you tried Saving Star yet? You can load coupons on to your local grocery store frequent shopper card or CVS card and when you purchase the product, you get credited for that coupon amount at Saving Star. Once you reach $5, you can start redeeming for Amazon gift cards. There’s a paypal option too and I think a couple others as well. Saving Star doesn’t offer a huge variety of coupons but I’ve only been using it for a few weeks and I already earned my $5 Amazon gift card. The website is http://www.savingstar.com if you’re interested.
Totally worth the move just for the video of your precious miracle! Just keep blogging and we’ll keep reading!
I love Amazon and have not heard of swagbucks until your blog. Need to check them out! Tks.
I’d love to win

Well, with so many entries I am probably out of luck… but I would LOVE to win! I joined Swagbucks too! Not sure I am a fan, but trying to give it a chance. I am trying to take surveys and they keep denying me
– not your problem, I know
!!
Anyway, thanks for the tips. I am giving it more time!!
I found your blog through Kelly’s Korner awhile ago, and love reading your blog! A gift card to Amazon would be awesome…my little guy turned one in June and I’m always finding fun things to buy for him!
Thanks for the opportunity to enter for the gift card!! My son and Scarlette were due about the same time, and I have been reading since just after she was born. I love your writing, and think Scarlette is such a cutie pie.
Hi Kayla!
I enjoy reading your blog!
I’d love to be entered for the Amazon gift card.
Thanks!!
i just started doing swagbucks a couple months ago, takes time, but i hope it pays off!
Love reading all your posts!
oh, i’m a huge swagbucks fan. it’s definitely why i end up buying so much stuff on amazon!!
Love reading your blog. So excited that Scarlette is at home and doing so well! She is stinkin’ adorable! I have had two babies in diapers for over 18 months, I could seriously use an Amazon gift card so that I too can write $0 beside diapers/wipes in my budget!
I just love shopping on Amazon! Thanks for sponsoring the give-away.
Been thinking about Swagbucks and really thinking I need another way to finance all these crazy diapers! This would certainly help. I’ve never checked out Amazon Mom… off to lurk around there for awhile. Thank you!!!
Thank you for hosting this giveaway. I just signed up for swagbucks through your link

Yay! I love swagbucks – and amazon.com! I am saving up for a mamaroo seat for our new one on the way – and $25 bucks would help so much! Thanks for the giveaway!
Thanks for the chance to win. Love all the scarlette updates.
oooh, I’d love to win! Need to stock up on more Kindle books
i haven’t yet tried swagbucks, but I’ve heard people talking about it everywhere, so I might have to give in to peer pressure and try it. Who doesn’t like saving money!
A treat to Amazon would be magnf, because all the money I got for my birthday last month went to bills. And that’s ok! Being able to live in my beautiful home, with electricity is a sweet birthday present. But my hubby and I are skipping Christmas presents to each other to save up for a honeymoon (which is 2.5 years too late by the time we take it in May.)
Whether I win or not, I’m glad I could help promote your new blog page. :]
I’m like your friend Tiffani…tried SwagBucks, got 3 dollars and quit. I’m going to give it another try thanks to your tips and encouragement.
Thanks for the giveaway! captainliss40(at)gmail(dot)com
Amazon makes it possible to never leave your home!
Hope I win
oh i would enjoy the heck out of an amazon giftcard! thanks!!
Love amazon.com!!! And love your blog, you are so funny, love reading it!!
Thanks for the post about swagbucks. I have wondered how that works and your post was very helpful!
We shop on Amazon all the time! I have wanted to try out swagbucks but wasn’t sure how my husband would like it on the computer….but he is deployed now so maybe it is a good time to give it a go?!?!
Loved the post about Swagbucks. I joined a while ago but never really knew how to use it.
Thanks!
I’m a teacher and I’m always buying books for my students, so, I would love a $25 gift card to amazon.
Amazon is one of my favorite hangouts. I’d love to win this one. They have everything imaginable.
Kayla- Let me start by saying I’ve been reading your site since baby Scarlette was the tiniest little thing. I love the pics you put up of her. We have a family friend whose baby, Teagan, was born at 25 weeks about 6 weeks ago. http://babygirlbalin.blogspot.com/ I have shared the website you setup for Scarlette with Teagan’s mom because you have A LOT of good information about preemies but you have A LOT of good info in general and I get a lot of chuckles out of the posts you write. I tell my husband about the funniest things you say all the time.
Anway, thank you for posting about swagbucks. I’ve never heard of it and will definitely be signing up from your link. Thank you for all the info you post and thank you for offering such a great gift certificate. I have been buying diapers for my almost 6 month old (Scarlette was due when my baby Eden was born) and the diapers are an incredible deal.
Keep up the funny posts and of course the more serious ones too.
Julie
