This time last year I used Shutterfly to send out our birth announcements. I can’t tell you how excited I am to be doing normal, happy holiday cards this year.
I had a really hard time choosing this year’s holiday greeting card. First of all, Shutterfly is home to some of my favorite designers, like Erin Condren. How cute are her Christmas cards?

I tried recreating that pose with Scarlette but she just looked at me like “Why are you making me fly above the couch, woman? I just want to eat those blocks over there.” So we scrapped that one.
I am also really enamored with the idea of a timeline photo card because let’s face it, it’s been QUITE the year around here. I love the new story format cards.

In the end I went with something more traditional, because we had our first family portraits made and I wanted to show it off. You’ll have to peek in your mailbox to see what we chose but I will tell you that I was thrilled that the folded cards allow you to put up to twelve mini photos on the inside of a card. Just perfect to showcase a little girl’s first year of life, don’t you think?
If you go to the Special Offers section of Shutterfly, you’ll find an excellent coupon code for holiday cards
Currently CARD40 will give you 40% off, which is a pretty great deal.
(p.s. I was compensated for this post with 25 free Christmas cards from Shutterfly. I accepted the offer because I frequently use Shutterfly for my personal photo printing needs so all opinions are my own.)

Hi. I am new to your blog. Actually I have never really read a blog before. Don’t even know how I stumbled onto yours and not really sure how or what I am doing LOL. I also love scrapbooking. I do it the old fashion way and do some online with Shutterfly. I have 2 kids Sarah 7 and Ryan 10. I work full time but would love to be a stay at home mom. That is a dream but maybe one day it will come true. Just wanted to say I am so far injoying your blog.
