Get Bronzed: $100 Target GiftCard Giveaway

It’s no secret that I am pale. I mean, for one thing, I mention it often. I tend to overshare. So the thing about bronzing powder is that it doesn’t usually work for me. It’s supposed to give you a “sun-kissed glow” but most of my attempts at it have ended up more like “rubbed-some-dirt-on-her-face” because, well, brushing tan-colored powder on vampire-esque white skin tends to have that effect.

Then I was introduced to illuminating bronzing powder and, sucker that I am for all things shimmery, I jumped on board thinking that the coveted “sun-kissed glow” was in my reach. Sadly, it eluded me once more. Only this time I sparkled.

So the only reason I agreed to review Sonia Kashuk’s new Illuminating Bronzer is because it is made by Sonia Kashuk, and I’ve never tried a product of hers that I didn’t like. And also because I am a glutton for punishment. But mostly because I am a big fan of Sonia Kashuk products. I remember reading about them in my Seventeen magazine and anxiously awaiting their debut at Target. I just really dated myself by admitting that to you. I’m about to be twenty-nine, y’all. TWENTY-NINE. Twenty years ago I was watching Boy Meets World on Friday nights and playing Pogs with my sister. Click READ MORE to continue reading and enter to win a $100 Target Gift Card

But I digress. (POGS!) Okay, seriously. So after a round with some self-tanner I felt like the Sonia Kashuk Illuminating Bronzer would be worth trying, and y’all. It is fantastic.

I was sent some of the Illuminating Bronzer to try out as well as several other cool Sonia Kashuk Products. The Illuminating Bronzer came with instructions, and because I’m such a rule follower, I did what it said. Which was this:

Using a dense brush, apply to cheekbones, forehead, nose and chin. Unlike a regular powder, you may not see the product on the brush, but it is there. The buildable coverage gives a long-lasting warm glow to even the fairest of skin tones.

It doesn’t look dirty at all, it just adds a little color. I’ve been wearing it instead of blush, which is a pretty big deal seeing as I’m really Southern and consider blush a necessity along the lines of things like food and water. It’s not orange-y at all either, which is another problem I tend to encounter with bronzing powders. It’s like some companies think we all want to look like Snooki. This has a nice bronze finish that is really soft, so you can be sure you will not look like Snooki. And also, it comes with its own little brush and mirror in the crocodile compact, which is great for touch-ups. Or checking your hair. Or pretending to check your hair while you secretly try to determine if the girl in the back corner of the restaurant is Selena Gomez. Whatever.

I was only asked to review the Illuminating Bronzer, but as I mentioned I received some other products too, and the new glitter eyeshadow Eye Quads? They are fantastic. They’re my favorite non-matte eyeshadow ever. My sister and my mother kept trying to steal them from me when I was visiting last weekend. They have no manners. And the Satin Luxe Lip Color lipstick in Classic Red is a really good, it’s Taylor Swift red. It’s much better to do your makeup like Taylor Swift than like Snooki, that’s what I always say. Plus, the lipstick smells like vanilla. It’s like the Hambly Overlays of lipstick. So obviously, my husband was a big fan because we all know how he feels about Hambly Overlays. Unless you are one of his male friends. Then obviously I made that up.

So the big news is that BlogHer is giving away a $100 Target GiftCard to one of my readers. Do you know how much Illuminating Bronzer you can buy with a $100 Target GiftCard? A bunch, that’s how much.

To be entered to win, leave a comment below telling me where you usually apply bronzer! Do you follow the “wherever the sun hits” rule? Do you brush it on your chest in an attempt to create faux cleavage? Not that I know anything about that…

i have never actually tried bronzer because, like you, i am vampire pale. my baby girl was born last summer DARKER THAN I AM!!! sigh. but i am anxious to try something that actually works! thanks for the chance!

  2. 2

Confession I don’t wear bronzer really as I can never really get it too look right. I have freckles sprinkled around my checks & nose so it gets hard to get it right so I just have to look into Illuminating Bronze.

  3. 3

I am a cheeks & forehead bronzer girl! I really like he SK products that I’ve used, too!

  4. 4

I’ve never worn bronzer! I’ve heard the SK products are awesome tho!

  5. 5

where the sun hits definitely, & that faux cleavage thing, its heaven. ;)

  6. 6

I would have to follow the directions as well, because I have never tried it! I am ghostly pale as well. It is an ongoing joke with my friends, as they all like to tan and I am terrified of skin cancer, so I refuse to go tanning, and you better believe at the beach I’m wearing a strong SPF. I’m always terrified that bronzers will make me orange and Snooki-ish, but you gave me some hope for this one!

Love a little bronzer brushed where the sun hits.

  8. 8

I’ve actually never tried bronzer but this stuff sounds pretty awesome. :)

  9. 9

The few times I’ve tried, I just put it on my face. But everything was too orange! I just had to come to terms with being pale :-/

    Kristin says:

*sigh* WHY have I never tried bronzer before?? I am as fair skinned as they come….so fair in fact, that both my goddaughter and niece ( 7 months and 4 months respectively) are darker than I am. AND THEY ARE BABIES Y’ALL. Babies. I must go buy bronzer now, just so I can look like I haven’t been hiding under a rock for all of my 21 years.

  11. 12

I have never tried bronzed. I will have to get one and give it a try! Tans for the tip!

  12. 13
    Katelynn says:

I don’t use it often because I am lighter skinned but I have used it to create faux cleavage :) Haha. I can just never find the right color!

  13. 14

I’ve never tried bronzer either but would love something for my pale, freckled face. :) thanks!

  14. 15

I must confess that I’ve never used bronzer. Sad, probably. If I did, I’d apply it like the directions. Once finished, I’d be tempted and then act upon my temptation and apply it everywhere! I’m ghost white this time of year…that’s all I can say!

BTW…I LOVE your new blog design. The pics in your header are AMAZING!

I use bronzer when the summer months hit! As soon as there is no longer snow on the ground its time to start to feel the summer glow!

I don’t think I’ve ever worn bronzer, I’m reallllly pale but I like rocking the pale look so it all works out for me! I love that picture of Scarlette in the blog banner, she is too cute!

  17. 18

The last time I tried bronzer, I was 12 & definitely looked like a super streaky snooky. Since then, I’ve shied away from it.

  18. 19
    Mishiee says:

Also I am really blind this morning and could not find the post comment button to save my life… it’s right there under this box. Oy.

  19. 20

I apply to cheeks, forehead, and lightly on chin!!

  20. 21

For a $100 Target giftcard, I’ll put bronzer pretty much anywhere…even on my husband, if it comes to that!

  21. 22

I also never use bronzer because I am not very skilled in the makeup department and am afraid of what I will look like. I may try this one though.

  22. 23

forehead and cheeks. bronzer just makes your skin feel more summery i think. i love sk products.

  23. 24

I have never tried bronzer before and I am about to be 29! I have just been too scared because I am so pale. My 9 month old son is darker than me for goodness sakes! I might just try this kind though…

  24. 25

I trace a 3 (and backwards 3) on each side of my face, forehead, cheeks, jawline, then a little on my nose. I’m glow in the dark pale too, so I have to blend it really well and use it very sparingly.

  25. 26

I have the worst time with makeup and such! I love to look healthy with sun kissed glow or all over….he he. I’m always on the hunt for something that is dee-proof. I might have to give this a try.

    Thanks for the review!

  26. 27

I haven’t used bronzer. When makeup artists use it on me at the department store counters, I look like a shimmery, orange mess. I’m intrigued by this product now though.

  27. 28

What an awesome giveaway! I wouldn’t know which Target department to hit first, but for sure the bronzer would be on my list. It sounds great and I am like you…too white for most colors. I stick with bronzer on my face, but this stuff sounds like I would want it on my legs too! :) Happy birthday week to you!!

  28. 29

Usually on cheeks, forehead and chin, making sure to just empty the brush along my jawline so my face isn’t a different color than my neck…
Would LOVE to try this new product! Thanks for the chance to win!

  29. 30

Love me some bronzer. I usually put it on my face, and a little on my neck and chest but not the cleavage look just to make it look even and not like I used a bronzer. Oh and sometimes I put it on my arms, especially right now because I haven’t been tanning much.

  30. 31

I am one of those people you would probably hate, because I have never needed to wear bronzer. A bit of time out in the sun, and I don’t need to worry about it.

  31. 32

I tweeted it too because i think its awesome. the contest not tweeting. https://twitter.com/supercoolstephy/status/209665506502905856

I, too, am of the pale nature and have never used bronzer. Before your post, I would have told you it was powder for when you are already tan. And of course, that never happens to me. How sad is that?

  33. 34

I love a good bronzer…I am a wherever the sun hits kinda girl!

  34. 35

I always thought bronzers were shimmery – glittery. I’ve been afraid to try them.
Thanks for the chance to win.

    Jaclyn Swope says:

I use bronzer as my blush. Especially in the summer when I’ve got a tan!

  36. 37

I’m probably paler than you and I’ve not had good luck with bronzer. It makes my glow but not in a good way. I’ll have to try the SK Illuminating Bronzer. I would love to have $100 to spend at Target – I could have so much fun!

  37. 38

I use bronzer like blush, normally. I, like you, however, haven’t found THE one that I like. I hate spending all that money and not getting something you like–very frustrating!

  38. 39

I mostly wear it on my cheeks and forehead if I’m going to wear it, but like you, I’m vampire pale so it isn’t very often that I’ll give it a try. I’m excited to possibly get a new color that will look better on me!

    Michelle says:

I’ve never used bronzer, but would like to try!

  40. 41

I haven’t tried bronzer in ages but this one actually sounds like it works!
(my teachers used to send notes home to my parents to get blood work done – I understand what it means to be pale!)
Back in the day, we wore it on our forehead, nose and cheeks. OF COURSE we tried the faux clevage trick – we were in high school!

  41. 42

I’ve only tried bronzer on my face a couple of times and it always came out orange, but this one sounds like it could actually work!

  42. 43

I just started using bronzer and I’m not quite getting it right yet. I think it’s too dark. I follow the every where the sun hits, or the everywhere I want to contour. Mostly just as blush and chest if I’m wearing something low cut.

  43. 44

I usually apply bronzer on my face only – I’m pretty pale, so a little goes a long way!

  44. 45

I love how you handle sponsors and giveaways. I don’t mind them at all on your blog whereas on pretty much every other I can’t stand them.

I put bronzer on my cheeks only. Sometimes I tiny bit on my nose or forehead but usually just the lower part of my cheeks.

I love that picture of you and Scarlette :)

  45. 46

Cheek bones, forehead, and a Dan on the bridge of my nose! Bronzer is a lifesaver, er, face saver.

  46. 47

I’ve never tried bronzer. I am not daring, and am afraid that I would look a little freaky if I had to do it myself. But maybe I could with step by step (picture, lol) instructions.

  48. 49

I put on a pink blush first, then I use a bronzer on the top of my forehead, in a c-shape from above my eyebrows to below my cheekbones and then on my neck. I got a makeover at the MAC makeup counter once and that is what they told me to do…so that’s what I do! :)

  49. 50

I have never tried bronzer (another pale girl here) — where was this amazing product when I was a teenager being teased for looking like a ghost? Would love to win the giveaway — I love Target.

  50. 51

I usually apply bronzer on the apples of my cheeks to give them that sun-kissed glow. Somtimes I’ll put just a dusting on my t-zone to mimic where the sun would be hitting my face too!

In all honesty I’m far too lazy to use bronzer, and most makeup, on the regular. I’ve tried using it and it ends up being too dark because, while I tan, I don’t make it outside all that much so, you know, I’m just pale.

  57. 58

I have only used bronzer a couple times because I naturally tan pretty well and I retain that tan. When I have used bronzer it was on my neck and shoulders because the wedding bother of the bride in a wedding I was in thouht I looked too white. That’s what I get for wearing modest clothing! Haha

I’ve never used bronzer, but the older I get, the more I avoid the sun. I may be in the market for a little extra non-sun color this summer. :)

  59. 60

I use it (sparingly!) on cheeks and forehead…i don’t do the faux cleavage thing, because…i’m b-feeding and have no need for extra cleavage!

  60. 61

Don’t normally use bronzer but this sounds like it’s worth a try! I’m about as pale as they come :(

  61. 62

O.k. first I am totally vampire pale myself so I have the same issues with bronzers and self tanners. I have not tried this one yet so I am thinking I should. Plus, second I LOVE target and spend far too much time there.

  76. 79

If I wear bronzer, which is rarely, I put it wherever I naturally get freckles: nose, cheeks, forehead and sometime the tops of my shoulders, depending on what I’m wearing.

I put my brozer on my cheek bones, forehead and nose. I don’t apply it to my body in fear that it will rub off on my clothes and baby!

  78. 81

I usually don’t wear bronzer. I’m super pale and have red hair so it just doesn’t look right on me.

  79. 82

I’ve never used a bronzer. My darling daughter teases me that I’m not actually white, I’m clear. Can’t imagine using it on my body, but would attempt to apply it as a blush.

  80. 83

I love bronzer! I can’t stand being as pale as I am… I pretty much only use it on my cheeks.

  81. 84

I haven’t used bronzer in years. I would follow the directions and apply it where the sun would hit my face.

  82. 85

I keep the bronzer on my face, haha. I’ve been using Physician’s Formula because it looks most natural for years but now I want to try the Sonia Kashuk!

  83. 86

I am very pale and have tried bronzers on my face, but have not had luck with any of them looking natural.

  84. 87

i use it instead of blush..

  85. 88

Usually on my cheeks and nose…just a bit though. I don’t want to look dirty. :)

  86. 89

I love the Clinique bronzer I got as a gift last Mother’s Day and I use it on my cheek bones only. I never thought I’d use a bronzer but I LOVE it!!!

  87. 90

I don’t use bronzer now, but back in the pre-kid era, I would put it where the sun might actually hit my wrinkle free face…. nowadays, I’m lucky if I shower and apply mascara all in the same day!

  88. 91

I use bronzer on my cheekbones, nose, and forehead.

  89. 92

I use bronzer all over my face. I have 2 different shades that I “mix” so that I look sun kissed. :) I wish I knew the magic of doing great eye make up. Wearing glasses has made me think I can’t do it!

I have never used bronzer before. In fact, I rarely wore make up until the last few months. As I have started losing weight and getting a tiny bit of confidence, I have started to experiment with it more and more. I would love to try a bronzer too because I too am vampire pale. :)

  102. 105

  115. 118

I don’t think I could live without bronzer! I not only use it on the “places sun naturally hits,” but I also use it as a blusher. (Like you, I am about to date myself) When I first began using make-up, 90210 was the living Bible of all the latest makeup techniques and fashion, and they used it to to define and sculpt cheekbones (applied it under the cheekbones, rather than apples of cheeks). To this date, I still use this method. But, I have finally joined “today,” and I now use blush on the apples of my cheeks, but I still apply bronzer below the blush to scuplt my cheeks (I use a complimentary shade of blush, so as not to look too clown-like). I still use it on my forehead, nose, and chin to give me that sun-kissed glow.
I, too, am also a long-lost member of the Cullen clan, and I have a difficult time finding a bronzer that isn’t too orange-y. I have found both Benefit Hoola and Bare Minerals Faux Tan to be the most natural. You should def check it out (to give you a little more variety on your bronzer journey)! Hope this helps!
Ps. I accidently found your blog, and I must say I LOVE IT!!! I find myself hitting it daily for any new posts (its the first of my regular blogs I hit daily). I love your sense of humor, and I find it very closely mirrors my own (I love self-deprecating, sarcastic humor!!!!). Please, keep it up!

Thanks that is such a sweet comment! I appreciate it so much, totally made my day :) Also, I really enjoy that you learned to apply makeup from Brenda :) That is awesome.

      • 120

Hecks yeah! I loved me some Brenda! I liked the bad-girl (and I even loved Valerie when she replaced Brenda as the resident bad girl). I was ok with Kelly until she slept with Dylan (I was always a Team Brenda-Dylan member). After that, I couldn’t stand the sight of the jezebel (yes, I threw out “jezebel.” I really believe it should take a more prominent place in today’s vernacular. ;) ). I could take or leave Donna–she was always too “blonde” for me.
Sorry for the walk down 90210 memory lane. All that to say, yes, I learned makeup techniques from Brenda. At that time, she was my style icon (I even tried the thick, blunt bangs–should’ve left that one for her alone!!!). I even learned the smudge-y eyeliner trick, which I still use to this day.
Oh, and you’re welcome. I am not trying to brown nose, I promise! I really do love your blog. I love reading all of your Scarlet posts. My niece is approximately the same age, so I can relate to all of the growing pains you are now experiencing– but, in that “Auntie can send her home to her parents when she has absolutely lost her mind” kinda way. And, I swear I had nothing to do with her actually vibrating–the bottle of unsweet (hey, at least it was unsweet) tea had NOTHING to do with it in the least!!! ;)

Like you, I am glow-in-the-dark pale and this has generally kept me far far away from bronzer. Now that you’ve told me about this awesome new product, it will likely be my go-to solution!

  117. 122

I love the warm ton on your face with the bronzer. I usually apply bronzer on my cheek bones only.

I don’t normally wear bronzer. But the times that I’ve tried, it was on the sun-kissed parts and my chest–for looking tanned because my chest repels sun apparently & not for cleavage although I DID do that at Miss Ga–and I also felt I looked orangey, so it has never stuck with me as something to become a regular routine!

  120. 125
    Judy B. says:

I usually use it as contour, like under cheekbones and around jaw bone. I had never thought about it for cleavage but not a bad idea. lol

For the record, I randomly stumbled upon your blog and have been reading it religiously for a while now – I love reading about your antics with Scarlette! Thanks for bringing a smile to my day. As for the bronzer, I always have to brush some on my neck because I am also pale – not a good look when my face is a different color. I do the cleavage too, since I might as well dust bronzer all over myself at that point!

  123. 128

I SO need to try bronzer! I’m as pale as Elmer’s glue. Seriously. LOL.
P.S. LOVE the new blog design, girl! :-D

I usually just swipe my bronzer on my cheekbones and maybe the bridge of my nose. But it’s been years since I gave it a shot because….same problems with orangey Snooki-ness. This one sounds great!

I don’t wear bronzer, as I don’t wear much makeup, but I love nail polish. Sonia Kashuk’s “a powerful punch” nail colour set is my favorite right now!

  128. 133

I have never used bronzer. When I was younger, I was outside a lot and always had a tan. Now that I am older (and more aware of sun damage), I use sunscreen (in my makeup).
Now, I just use a base coat of makeup and sometimes use a little mascara – I have allergies and anything else seems to really bother my skin!!

  129. 134

OMG! boy meets world and pogs. I’ll be 29 in september :)

I usually just do a highlighter (it’s more pinky than bronzer and from sephora) to try to hide by i-have-a-four-month-old tired. and breast feeding is covering my hey-look-i-finally-have-boobs :)

If you are the southern version of a vampire, KA…then I am the Yankee version. I’ve been referred to as “boiled chicken”. Who says that? People who tan…that’s who! So, I would love to try a bronzer. My fears match your own…that I really don’t want to become orange. One day, I will share with you my early experiences with self-tanning lotion more than 20 years ago in high school. I will leave you with this mental picture…DARK. ORANGE. PALMS. Horrifying!

  131. 136

I use bronzer on my cheeks

    Shannon says:

If I wear bronzer (and that’s basically if I happen to be tan, which is rarely because I am so pale) I follow the “where the sun hits” rule. It’s done okay for me, but only when I am un-pale!!!

  134. 139

Just my cheekbones! I have to keep it simple or will go crazy…FYI its because I’m pale too!

I’ve never worn bronzer. It’s one of those things I’m afraid I’ll put too much on and look absolutely ridiculous or not put enough on and then no one notices anyway, so really why bother? But I must say I’m a fan of the Sonia Kashuk products and have used them for years. :)

  136. 141

Never used bronzer, not sure why… I think I’m afraid of spending $$ for something only to end up looking orange and scary. The product you tried sounds really good though. I love all things Target. :)

I’ve never actually tried to wear bronzer because as you stated I don’t want to look like Snooki. I’m always afraid of applying too much or too little. I think I may have to go to Target just to check this out. If you have had a positive experience with it then maybe I can too!

    Breanna S says:

I have never actually purchased bronzer. However, I have used several of my friends before (generally through their suggestion). Most of them enjoy baking themselves like turkeys in tanning beds. One of them even tried to tell me it was good for me (by comparing it to the way that the brain reacts when in the sunlight) but I told them I would stick to the natural rays of beauty from the real sun, with sunscreen of course. Anyways back to the task at hand, the technique I use to apply bronzer. I always make sure I do a little at a time because a little goes a long way (especially for my fair skin). So I tap the brush off and sweep lightly onto my cheekbones up toward my forehead then apply a little on my nose. I have friends that are freelance makeup artists and a few that work at M.A.C. So a lot of the the techniques I use come from them. I keep meaning to buy some bronzer but I always find something else to use my $3.50 off coupon at Ulta or myextracare bucks on before I remember that I wanted to pick some up. By the way, I will admit to using a bronzer (that was given to me) on my chest to draw a little attention.

On a completely different topic, I recently bought Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter. It feels amazing and looks just as good as it feels. Just thought I would give my two cents in case anyone was on the lookout for a great lipstick.

I have actually never tried bronzer, I have fair skin and I always think I look funny when I wear it or feel like I’m not wearing it right. I’m open to wearing it if I knew I was doing it right. I have no objections to applying it to my chest

    Robin Troxell says:

I have never tried bronzer, being a very pale freckled person myself. After reading yoru review I would probably give this a try for the summer! And I was just feeling the “target tug” this morning!

  153. 158

I bronze everyday of my life… which some find odd because I am half black so my dad hooked me up with permabronze but still I really need that extra glow. That umph that says “why yes I do have a toddler, my house is a disaster, I havent washed my hair in four days but I did manage to find the time to lay out today and get that oh so sun kissed look”.

If you know what I mean?

  154. 159

I love the idea of being all polished and looking fantastic. I do own bronzer and ont eh occassions I have used it I just put it on my cheeks, chin, forehead, and nose. Because really, i have no idea what I am supposed to do. And most days I can’t even manage to get my hair dry becuase my son is 3 and I work outside my home. =(

    Heather R says:

i have never tried bronzer, but am willing to give it a chance as i am white, white, white!

  156. 161

I love bronzer, but for some reason often forget that I have it! I sometimes use it as a blush replacement, sometimes as a blush enhancer for nights out, and sometimes I use it as intended and put it in the sun-kissed zones. It is a fun thing once you find the right one and if you remember to use it! (Oh, and please don’t do brushed on cleavage, it can end VERY badly – I’ve seen it, and that’s all I can share… :-) )

  157. 162

I just do a bit of bronzer to contour my face.

  158. 163

I use a light, shimmery bronzer on my cheekbones and on my shoulders at night when I go out. It gives a sexy glow. On regular outings and during the day I wear a blush and highlighter.

    Natalie says:

    Rachel W says:

I too am super fair so I tend to stay away from bronzed. When I have tried it I put is on the apples of my cheeks and bridge of my nose. Sadly I usually look like I have dirt on my face! I love Sonia Kashuk too so I may have to check out this bronzer!

  162. 167

I’ve used the Bare Minerals bronzer, but it’s def not cheap! I will have to try this one. Thanks for sharing!

    Allison C. Bayer says:

Thanks KA!! I’m nearing the 50 mark and love a good bronzer. I was just in Target and picked up some SK for the FIRST time!!! I use my bronzer under my jawline – lightly . . . so as to have an appearance of a jaw line. No double chins — won’t allow that. I find this little trick works well for me.

  164. 169
    Courtney says:

I am about as pale as you and have been desperately searching for a good bronzer. I found one by Bobbi Brown, but hello, way too expensive for me. I can’t wait to try this one from Sonia Kashuk!!

  165. 170

I’m more of a blush person than a bronzer one. Thank you for the giveaway!

  166. 171
  167. 172

I have never needed it. I tan so easily its crazy. If I sit outside for more that 20 minutes (in the sun of course) I will be slightly darker. It runs on my moms side. We don’t age gracefully though…..

  168. 173
    Lindsey says:

I do what my mom taught me a long time ago and make a ‘c’ shape, starting under my cheek bones and sweeping it up and into my hairline. It works great for both of our face shapes!

  169. 174

I am afraid of bronzer, being a freckled up red-ish auburn kind of blonde highlighted…oh, never mind. Maybe I should try it!

  170. 175

I apply bronzer to my whole face – love the sun kissed look

  171. 176

I like to use bronzer instead of blush and often foundation. I live in New Mexico and try to stay out of the sun. It is a great substitute if it is a good bronzer. I will try this one for sure, even if I don’t get $100!

  172. 177
    Emalene says:

I use bronzer every day! In college, I used to only wear bronzer to give my skin some color but avoid the “I got super dolled up for class” look. Typically, I’ll use bronzer of my whole face and my chest if wearing a low-cut top.

  173. 178

I usually put a little on chest during the summer :)

  174. 179
  175. 180

Forehead, nose, cheeks and chin!! :)

  176. 181

I use bronzer every once in awhile but I run into the same problem – mud face!

  177. 182

I usually use highlighter on my cheeks and forehead. I have never used a bronzer. I have always been afraid of the Snooki look :)

  178. 183
    Melinda T says:

I’ve never tried bronzer before, because I don’t know how to use it! And never had a need for it, I grew up in sunny CA and was a sun magnet! I had no problems naturally tanning…til now! Now that I’m “older” and don’t get out, plus the fact that the sun never shines in WI (moved here about 7 years ago), I’m much more pale.

And if bronzer helps me create a faux cleavage…YAY! :D

  179. 184
    Melinda T says:

And I tweeted. Thanks for the chance!

  180. 185

KA, Love your blog! I have rarely used bronzer because every time I try it, it looks orange-y and fake. Would love to use the $100 Target gift card to try the Illuminating Bronzer.

  181. 186

Ha Ha – I had to laugh at the faux cleavage remark as I don’t need any help there. I have never tried a bronzer before but it sounds fun – something to make me look less pale is always good! :D
