I’m playing catch-up on Project Life right now. I got behind when Scarlette was sick and it overwhelmed me. Plus, all of my supplies are currently packed away and pulling them out + putting them back every week was creating a mess I couldn’t stay on top of. And that also overwhelmed me. Plus, Scarlette kept eating my stickers. The whole point of this project was NOT to be overwhelmed so I changed tactics.
I’m catching up on all of June digitally. I created all of my pages in photoshop and then I will print them out and add physical elements to them when I have access to my supplies. Amen.
Nixie spent the night for a playdate and I wanted to put a few of my favorite instagram pictures of the girls together in my album as an insert for the week. I made this page and then I created a template version of it so that I can use it again and just change out the photos + background paper.
If you want to use it, you can download the layered PSD file HERE. And if you’ve never used a layered template before, don’t be scared, I wrote a tutorial with screenshots HERE.

Those pictures are so sweet. <3
so cute! when you print out pictures to do project life, do you do it at home (what kind of printer do you use?) or get them printed somewhere? i bought the project life kit with all these grand intentions to document every moment of my daughter’s life… but my baby came 4 weeks early in january, i went back to work in april and have done exactly zero pages :/ my house being in the middle of a million reno projects doesn’t help! but your pages inspire me to at least THINK about getting started
I know the feeling! I used to print at home – I have an HP OfficeJet but it used too much ink so now I have them printed at RiteAid or Walgreens – I just use photoshop to put 2 photos on a 4×6 canvas and then have the 4x6s printed. HTH! Congrats on your little one
Great Idea to do it digitally…I got behind too. I just finished April’s layout. I downloaded the template too. Thanks a lot for sharing
Love your post, they are always fun and a big thank you for the psd file
off to play with photos.
