Newsflash: P&G’s New Online Store (+ Coupon)

I’ve been waiting and waiting to tell y’all about this: P&G has opened an online store! Right now you can get free shipping on purchases over $25 and they have a special coupon code for my readers to take 10% off all items (through 8.31.12)

We use a lot of P&G products because they are always sending us coupons and y’all know how I love my coupons.  They have coupons integrated in the online shop so that you can use them there as well. When they asked me if I wanted to talk about the new online shop and be an affiliate I was like ONLY IF I CAN TALK ABOUT DOWNY UNSTOPPABLES. Because I am ridiculously infatuated with these things.

The Downy Unstoppables In Wash Fresh Scent Booster in LUSH is the one I buy. I only picked these up because one night I saw Amy Sedaris talking about them on some late night talk show and I am a sucker for celebrity endorsements. I mean, if I like the celebrity, that is. I’m not going to go buy Miley Cyrus perfume or anything. So when I saw these in the store and realized I had a coupon for them I thought to myself “Self, you should get these.”

Then I smelled them and I thought to myself “Self, you should DEFINITELY get these because they will make your towels smell so good that it will trick people into thinking you are a decent housekeeper.”

In addition to using it in the laundry, I pour some Downy Unstoppables in my vacuum cleaner filter. And then when I vacuum, my house smells fantastic. LEGAL DISCLAIMER: I am totally not formally recommending that you do the same because I don’t want to get sued in case you try this and your vacuum cleaner blows up or something. But I will tell you that I shared this magical discovery with Tiffani and she agrees that it is amazing. Don’t sue her either. Also, at first I tried pouring them on the floor and vacuuming over them but I definitely don’t recommend that method. You should trust me on this.

Oh, and I put them in a little mesh bag in my carry-on so during my trip to Chicago I smelled so fresh and so clean, clean. I’m really becoming quite domestic.

Anyhow, there are a ton of products in the new store and they have some great deals on Olympic-themed bundles (because you know they are an Olympic sponsor, right? I mean, you’ve seen the tear-jerking Olympic mom commercials? Yeah, those make me cry every. single. time.)

And I love the convenience of online shopping. Seriously, who doesn’t?
