I am so appreciative of your support and work hard to ensure that I promote each sponsor to the best of my ability. Here’s all of that important sponsor stuff you want to know:
- I have awesome readers. I do. They are completely fantastic and so I’m pretty picky about the advertising I allow here. I prefer that my sponsors have something great to share with them, whether that’s a discount code or a free-ebook or a link to a blog post that shares a cool tutorial…you know, something awesome like them
- I am also overwhelmed with requests for product reviews/giveaways and while it’s something I love to do to support fellow bloggers and indie business owners like myself, I currently give preference to people who purchase the large ad space here. This allows me to create a unique narrative for my sponsors and still manage my time with my family. Have you seen my baby? She’s really cute.
*The exception to this is book reviews. If you’d like me to review your book, just shoot me an email. I believe in storytelling, promoting literacy and fostering a love of reading.
- I write about lots of different things, like renovating and organizing my house. I’ll probably be writing about that forever because I never seem finished. I also write about scrapbooking, parenting, premature babies and ping-pong. I included ping-pong because I’m love it AND I love alliteration. Sometimes I write tutorials and I also talk about faith and family. And once I wrote about sock bun curls and people seem to like that. You’re welcome to advertise anything that would appeal to the people who like to read about those things. I do reserve the right to approve all advertising prior to posting and to deny advertising that is inappropriate for this site.
- The current statistics for this blog are about 100,000 visits and 300,000 page views per month. First of all, that is crazy. Thank you for reading here. Second of all, I got those numbers from Google Analytics who apparently paid attention in statistics class, unlike me. There is more detailed information with exact figures, social media stats and clickthru rates in my media kit if you’d like to request one.
There are two options for purchasing a static ad on this site:
LARGE AD: $50
A large ad is 300×125 and includes a feature post with an optional review/giveaway.
Only (2) large ads are available per month and are located under the FEATURED SPONSOR heading on the right sidebar.
NEXT AVAILABLE SPOT: May 2012
MEDIUM AD: $25
A medium ad is 125×125 and includes photo + text link/blurb in the monthly sponsor post.
Medium ads are located on the far right of the right sidebar.
NEXT AVAILABLE SPOT: (1) left for March 2012
I use a plugin that rotates my ads each time the page is refreshed so that each ad gets the best possible exposure. All sponsor ads reside below my BlogHer ads, which is why I’m able to keep them pretty affordable. To make sure your ads are well promoted, I write a monthly sponsor post with a little description and link back to your site. The monthly sponsor post is housed in the blog archives so even after your sponsor month is up, you’ll continue to have a permanent text link to your site here.
