15 Favorite Free Fonts For Valentine’s Day

I’m working on pulling together all of the craft materials for our preschool-at-home projects and since February is going to be heart themed I am excited to use these fun (and free!) Valentine’s Day-ish fonts. There are a ton of free heart fonts available but this collection contains what I thought were the cutest. I’m trying to make a little visual key like this for each set of holiday fonts because it’s so much easier than scrolling through the long list of font names, especially when you are a font junkie like me. I forgot I even HAD that GGs Love Me font and it came out like, 8 years ago?!

Confession: I am probably more excited to make Valentine’s Day cards for Scarlette’s friends than she is. She’s just happy she gets to color on something.

What I Love | 12 Free Fonts For Christmas

Tis’ the season to be jolly! I have a slight font obsession. I am working on making lots of holiday goodies and compiled some of my favorite fonts to use in gift tags, cards, labels and more. I thought a lot of these would be especially cute for tins of cookies and candies. So yay for free christmas fonts! Enjoy! What I Love | 15 (More) Fun Free Fonts

I’ve been super slammed between finger painting sessions with Scarlette and trying to meet deadlines for a few different website and blog design jobs I am currently working on. I tend to use these fonts fairly often and since the last compilation of my favorite free fonts was so well received, I thought I’d put together a new list of some of my fresh new faves.

And okay, technically there are sixteen free fonts listed, but one is just comprised of numerals so that only counts as like, a fourth of a font. Or something. I have no idea how fractions work. This is probably why I am a terrible cook.

Related: Last time I linked some of my favorite free fonts, many of y’all had questions on how to install them. So I put together this handy-dandy little tutorial with step-by-step screenshots on how to install fonts. I’m very helpful. Also, I was actually just procrastinating doing the dishes. I really hate doing the dishes.

How To: Install Free Fonts

Here is a quick tutorial on how to install all of those cute, free fonts you’ve downloaded to your computer!

STEP ONE | Click on the font that you want to download and then click OK in the dialog box to open with the default program

STEP TWO | It will automatically open a new window. Click on the EXTRACT button and then choose where you want the file to open in the drop down menu (I typically choose DESKTOP) and click OK

STEP THREE | Go to your desktop where you’ll see the file. Now open up your FONTS folder by going to CONTROL PANEL > FONTS or C: > WINDOWS >FONTS. Click on the font that you just downloaded to your desktop and drag it into your fonts folder. VOILA! You just installed a font! Now you can use it in your word and photo editing programs!

Want to install a font on a MAC? It’s easy too. Just follow the same steps as above only you’ll find your fonts folder by going to: Macintosh HD > Library > Fonts. Just drag and drop your font there!

What I Love | 18 Fun Free Fonts

Here are eighteen of my favorite free fonts! Cute free fonts are the best because a) cute fonts and b) free. It’s a really good combination in my opinion. I’ve been using the old typewriter font on my project life pages a lot because it’s much, much easier than trying to use an actual typewriter. Probably because I don’t actually own a typewriter…
